Mommy Life Lesson #1

Always remember to make sure the diaper is on the bum fully before going to the dentist with big brother.

I took Justin, to the dentist on Tuesday. Jacob was having a hard time sitting in the stroller so I let him sit on my lap. I could feel Jacob pooping, I could smell it. I thought nothing of it. Then I felt something hit my foot. I looked down and saw poop all of me, the chair and the floor. Jacob didn't even get any poop in the diaper. I just asked for a paper towel, cleaned everything up the best I could and walked out. You have to laugh about these things. :-)

Kattie, Elise and I just after the wedding.
Our little family all dressed up.
Just a few pictures of us from my sister Kattie's wedding back in January.

Fun in the mud

Molly was kind enough to dig a hole in the back yard for the boys to play in. Justin got the idea that if you put water in the hole it made mud. So playing in the mud started. Justin loved it. Of course Jacob had to see what brother was doing, so he got in on the action. They both enjoyed themselves.

Camping at Joshua Tree

One of the few desert flowers that we saw. We caught the end of the season for the flowers in Joshua Tree. This very pretty purple flower was one of the last ones.

On Sunday it was really warm so Red's Uncle David went and got Popsicles for the kids. Jacob LOVED the Popsicle. He thought it was the greatest thing around. He almost looks drunk on Popsicle in the pictures.

Do you see the faces in the rocks?????

Red and Justin on one of our many rock climbs we did for the weekend. We saw lots and lots of rocks.

The boys are waiting in the car at Joshua Tree. This is what the car looked like loaded up.

The second half of our trip was to meet up and go camping with Red's aunt and uncle. We had a blast camping with them. Thanks for the great time and great food. They brought water guns and kites, they even made up an outdoor movie night for the kids. Justin loved playing with his cousins. The nights were cold and the days warm but we had a great time.

A Visit with Great Grandma Rademacher

A photo for GG Rademacher.
Grandma Rademacher at her best Justin found this great old wagon at Great Grandma Ginny's house. Jacob couldn't wait to get in it.

Last Tuesday we packed up the car. Loaded the boys and the dog and off we went to our first stop of our trip. We drove into GG Rademachers house at midnight last Tuesday. Good thing GG Rademacher is a night owl. The boys were glad to get out of the car. We had a wonderful time visiting with GG Rademacher. She spoiled us. We loved getting to spend some time with her. Justin wants to know when GG Rademacher is going to come up for a visit. We are working on it.
