Field Trip with Jacob's class
We took Jacob on Justin's field trip thinking that Jacob's class was not going to the pumpkin patch, but then after we took him, I got the note saying that Jacob's class would be going to the SAME pumpkin patch. Needless to say, going the second time was not as fun, but nice because it was so late in Oct. and Jacob's class was smaller so not that many people were there.
Field Trip with Justin class to the pumpkin patch
So here I am catching up on a few late posts. We just get so busy that I forget to blog and then I get way behind like I am now. Here goes it.
So way back in October Red, Jacob and I went to the pumpkin patch with Justin kindergarten class. One thing we have learned out here is that pumpkin patches are not pumpkin patches. This was a farmers market type place were they had plowed the corn down and put out some pumpkins for you to "pick" . Red and I just laughed because you took a hayride out to "pick" your pumpkin. They boys had a great time any ways. Justin got to "pick" his pumpkin learn all about corn and what you use it for, all about ice cream and how its made, he got to stuff a scarecrow, learn how you make apple cider and to taste it, plus he got to learn all about different pumpkins. It was overall a fun morning for us.

Baxter
Welcome to the family Baxter. AKA Phlea Baxter Rademacher I found Baxter on the side of the highway when I was taking Jacob to school in the storm last week. He was sitting on a orange road cone. I drove by him the first time and was like that's a kitten. So after dropping off Jacob I headed back to see if I could find him. Sure enough he was still sitting on the cone. I drove past him again and then had to turn around so that I could find a safe place to pull over. I ran over to him and he said some not so nice Kitty words and off we went back to the house of a warm bath and drying off. He was soaking wet. I did call Red and told him that I has rescued a kitten off the side of the highway. Of course he said OHH NO! But we have all grown to love the spunky little guy. He loves Molly and Molly loves him. So welcome to the family Baxter.
My first belly cake
A friends baby shower was last month so I decide to make a belly cake for the shower. What a long process. But I loved it and learned and lot from making the cake. Yes, I would make it again. Now I know how much time to give myself and how to do it. I loved making the belly cake what a fun shower idea.

First Soccer Pratice/Frist Soccer game
We signed the both boys up to play soccer though the YMCA. Both of the boys were very excited and looking forward to playing soccer. The loved their first game and first practice. The lady who is their coach is wonderful. She does a great job of helping all the kids and taking time with them. Jacob loves to be right into the middle of it. He does get broad easily with it. He didnt' want to practice for the whole half hour. He just sat down in the middle of the field and waited for the ball to come his way. At their first game he wondered away to watch another game wall playing his game. Jacob needs it to be fast paced lots of moving and running to stay with the game. Justin loved it also. He is very timid with the ball but man when he gets into it the loved it. Plus he gets to hang out with all of his little buddies that just happen to be on the same team.
Jacob's First Day of Preschool
Jacob started preschool two weeks ago. Now he did start a week late because he was so super super sick. He loves it. He is going to the same preschool that Justin went too. He is in the three year old class and seems to be enjoying himself. On his first day of school I asked him what he learned and he said Mommy I learned all about girls. I just about died laughing. Only my son would go to school and learn about girls. Looking forward to what this year is going to bring for both the boys in school. Enjoy your first year of school buddy. We love you.
