Gingerbread House

This year we decide to buy a gingerbread house for the boys to put together and decorate.  We keep having to postpone decorating the house because Red was sent out on a search and rescue call.  So when we finally got to do it the boys had a great time decorating it.  We gave the boys each one half of the house to decorate and they seemed to enjoy it.

Jacob learning to ride a two wheeler

Jacob was able to learn how to ride his two wheeler in November.  He is getting better at it every day he tries to ride. He loves to ride up and down the drive way or trying to keep up on a bike ride with Red and Justin.

Jacob's Christmas Program

Jacob did a great job with his Christmas program at school.  He loved the singing and man did he sing.  Jacob sang every song and he looked good.

November

What a busy month November was.  From two sets of visitors to a birthday and a holiday.  Could November have gotten any busier.  Yes, I am sure that it could have.   We loved.  Thanks to those who came and visited us. Happy Birthday to my great husband.  So many things to be thankful for this year.  Enjoy my look back at November in pictures.

Halloween

This year again we took the boys to the truck or treat at the church for about an hour and then we went around just a few of the streets in our neighborhood.  Just about very house in our neighborhood had their lights on.  They even brought in port a pottys for the people who come from outside of our neighborhood.  It was pretty crazy.  We saw people driving from house to house, using golf carts and ATVs with trailers going from house to house.  Justin was superman and Jacob was a dragon.  Red even dressed up this year for the truck or treat at the church as a pirate.

Field Trip with Jacob's class

We took Jacob on Justin's field trip thinking that Jacob's class was not going to the pumpkin patch, but then after we took him, I got the note saying that Jacob's class would be going to the SAME pumpkin patch.  Needless to say, going the second time was not as fun, but nice because it was so late in Oct.  and Jacob's class was smaller so not that many people were there.

Field Trip with Justin class to the pumpkin patch

So here I am catching up on a few late posts.  We just get so busy that I forget to blog and then I get way behind like I am now.  Here goes it.

So way back in October Red, Jacob and I went to the pumpkin patch with Justin kindergarten class.  One thing we have learned out here is that pumpkin patches are not pumpkin patches.  This was a farmers market type place were they had plowed the corn down and put out some pumpkins for you to "pick" .  Red and I just laughed because you took a hayride out to "pick" your pumpkin.  They boys had a great time any ways.  Justin got to "pick" his pumpkin learn all about corn and what you use it for, all about ice cream and how its made, he got to stuff a scarecrow, learn how you make apple cider and to taste it, plus he got to learn all about different pumpkins.  It was overall a fun morning for us.
