Strawberries Strawberries

A week ago Friday I got the privilege of going with Justin's preschool class to pick Strawberries at a local strawberry farm. What a great morning. I drove Justin and Jacob with one of Justin's classmates. Then we met up at the farm and picked and picked Strawberries. Justin got a little basket from the school and I borrowed a bucket from the farm and away we went. The boys did a great job picking the ripe strawberries. I think that Jacob ate more then he picked, but he was having fun so it was fine. We picked Strawberries for about an hour and got just about 13 pounds of Strawberries. So we now have a freezer full of frozen strawberries to go though the summer with yummy.

Egg Dying

We had the boys dye Easter eggs Friday night since we were going to have Easter a day early. The boys loved it. Now dying Easter eggs in a hotel suite was a little nerve racking for me but we made it though dying the eggs. Thank goodness for plastic table cloths. We had the boys take their clothes off and then the dying began. We did about a dozen eggs since we were the only one's looking for eggs. The next morning we had the Easter bunny come and the boys loved that the Easter bunny found them all the way in Florida. Then Red and I hind the eggs for the boys in our suite and off they went. Molly only got to one egg before we thought to put her outside on the porch. Otherwise it was a great time. The boys never noticed that she a gotten that egg either. :-)

Busch Gardens

We took the boys to Busch Gardens for Easter this year. It's been three years to the Easter since the last time Justin and I were in Tampa and went to Busch Gardens. Kind of a fun thing for us to do. The boys loved it. They had such a good time playing in the water splash zone and riding all the rides. Justin was super brave rode a roller coaster (kid one) all by himself. Since Jacob was about an inch too short Justin had to go by himself, Jacob was an inch to short for a couple of rides he was a good sport about it. Red got all of the roller coaster in as while. It was a fun and enjoyable day for us all.
