Just a few notes

So I am posting from my parnets house tonight. The boys are down. Its peaceful. We came up the hill on Christmas Eve. It was raining/ snowing. Justin was just awe struck. He talked for two hours stright on the drive up about how all he wanted to do was play in the snow.

He didn't get the chance until Christmas morning. Christmas eve we spent with Red's family. What a great time we had. Lots of just good fun. It started snowing Christmas morning while we were opening presents. It was so beatiful. Then after breakfest Justin did get to paly in the snow. Pictures to come later. We shared a nice Christmas dinner at my grandma's house, then home for a queite night.

Friday I did some shopping. Then just another quiet night of being with the family. Today we went shopping with my mom and dad for a new washer and dryer. Eight people living in one house can be hard on a washer and dryer. Then my mom and dad were nice and offered to watch the boys while we went to a movie. Two moives in two weeks, WHOA I was not sure what to do with myself. We went and saw Marley and Me. I laughed and cried though the movie. Reminds me of my life somedays. I have said so many of those things in the movie to Red. It made me love Molly (our chocalate lab) even more.

So tomorrow we are heading home. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas.

Jacob

Oh my darling Jacob. I really love him. So Jacob like's to get up before the sun. So this morning when he got up at 5am. I said to myself. I am going to make him stay in bed. Well Jacob has an Irish temper. He is very fisty. Watch out when he is mad. So I told him to lay down. So I sat next to the crib on the floor. Jaocb was pretty mad about this. So he throw his empty (thank goodness) sippy cup at me. The sippy cup hit me right between the eyes. I left the room crying, he was crying. My nose is very sore still. A little puffy.

Lesson learned don't sit on the floor near Jacob when he thinks that he should be getting up. ;-)

Pictures around the Christmas tree

Last night we decide to pose the boys around the Christmas tree with Molly for a fun Christmas picture. Between the dog and the boys no one wanted to sit still. It was fun and the boys had a good time.

Oh Christmas Tree

Our tree with lights on.
Riding the train
Jacob was so happy because he got in the truck. He thought he was the coolest thing around because he got to "drive" the truck.
Justin helping to look for a tree. He loved running though all of the trees.
Last Saturday we went with my mom to Apple Hill in search of the perfect Christmas tree. Plus we wanted the boys to experience cutting a Christmas tree. The place that we went doesn't allow you to cut your tree. They cut it for you. The nice young man that was helping us offered to let the boys help him of course both said NO.

Random pictures

Yes, Jacob is sitting on the potty.

Just a few random pictures from this past week.

A fire fighter any one

Justin trying the helmet on for size. Can we say furture firemen.

Jacob trying on the helmet.

Red good friend Luke is a volunteer fire fighter. the last time he and his girlfriend came down Luke let the boys try on his helmet. Justin loved this idea. All he talks about is how he and whoever are going to be fire fighters and driving the trucks. He loves fire trucks and anything to do with me a firemen. Jacob just thought it was great to try on another hat.

What are you Thankful this year?

This year I many things to be Thankful for. I having a wonderful and loving husband. Two of the most amazing boys. Some of the most awsome friends any girl could want. I also have an amazing God who I know will be there for me in the good and bad times. As this year is coming to a close I look back at all of the good times, bad times and just the hard times. I am amazed at what can be done. I am thankful for all of you. I wouldn't be the person that I am with out all of you. My boys wouldn't be my boys with out all of you. Thank you for being you!!!

Fun at the Zoo

My two favorite pictures that I took out of the whole day. I think that they came out great. Plus I just love those two little boys.

Some fun pictures of the boys playing in the play area of the zoo.

This Snow Leopard looked right at me when I was taking this picture.
Justin loved the Giraffes. When I asked him what he liked most about the giraffes he said because they were like horses. I just laughed.

On Monday we took the boys to the Zoo. For just a fun family day together. Red had the day off since he had to work on Veterns day.
We had a great time. Both Justin and Jacob loved looking at all of the animals and getting to run all over the zoo.

Jacob thinking "what is this thing"
So after two weeks of waiting we finllay let Justin crave his pumpkin. Yet I think that Red and I did most of the work. Justin and Jacob liked to just watch us. Anyways good family fun.

Justin wanted a sad face on his pumpkin so I made Jacobs and happy face in turn.

Getting out of the tree
Hanging out in the tree

So we have this tree I couldn't even tell you what kind of tree it is, but any ways. The tree is in the front yard and it is perfect for climbing with a little help from Daddy of course. So Red told Justin he was going to climb the tree. Justin was a little ummmm scared about this. We are going though a fear of everything phase. So up he went .

Bishops Pumpkin Farm

Today we went with our friends the Heilner family and the Judd family to Bishops Pumpkin farm for the second year. What a great time for the kids. The bigger boys loved it even more this year then last year. Jacob had a great time running around and trying to get into every thing. He loved to try and pick up the pumpkins that I am sure weighed more then he did.

Jacob

Jacob loves to walk around with hats on. One day it could be his firemen hat, the next it could be his cowboy hat, or even daddy's many hats. He just picks one and that's the one it is for the day. He was being really funny one morning and only wanted to wear Red's hat and this pair of play sunglasses. So I took some pictures.
