Monkey Muffins

Justin had been asking and asking if we could make Monkey Muffins. It was a recipe out of his Highlights magazine that GG Rademacher sends him. So one Saturday morning we made Monkey Muffins. After making the muffins and waiting for them to bake, Justin lost interest in them. He never ate one of the muffins. OH well he had fun making them.

I was putting laundry away the other day and Justin hopped right into the laundry basket. Soon to follow was Jacob. They asked me to push them around in the basket. What fun we had. I would push them for a little bit and then I would dump them out. Fun times.

Jacob loved sharing Mommy's ice cream.

Back on August 9th we went to the Caboose club ice cream social. We had a great time hanging out with our friends eating ice cream and riding the train down the river.

Sunflower seeds

Mommy lesson #2 Don't leave any lose sunflower seeds out as your three year old my decide to put them up his nose. Don't panic have him try to blow it out before going to the ER.

Yes, Justin for whatever reason decide to put a sunflower seed up his nose. I caught him trying to get it out. He was on the verge of panic. I looked up his nose with a flash light and saw it up there. I tried to reach it. But to no avail, so I thought what can it hurt to have him blow it out. It worked. A wet buggy sunflower seed came out. We had a nice long talk about putting things up our noses.
