Picking strawberries before Legoland opened. Jacob ate a few strawberries before they could make it into the bucket.

Day three in Southern Califoria we went to Legoland. The boys liked legoland. They were tired but seemed to enjoy themselves.

Beach morning

We decided to take the boys to the beach. Red's aunt always takes us to this beach every time we come to visit. We love going. On the morning we decided to go it was SO COLD the boys couldn't even go in the water. The wind was blowing it was just crazy. We only stayed about an hour. In that hour they had so much fun in the sand.

Family picture
Justin and Jacob were not really into taking pictures with the characters. Can you see the look of terror on Jacob's face. Justin warmed up some for Tigger.

Hanging out in TOONTOWN

Part two of our trip to Southern California was to to visit Red's aunt Kristy and her family in Carlsbad. We had a great time with all of them. Our second day with them we went to Disneyland. They boys had a great time riding all the rides and just seeing everything. Justin only disliked one ride and that was the Haunted Mansion. Jacob disliked Pirates of the Caribbean. The day was rather warm, but we still had a great time. We never waited long in line for anything. What a great day.

We did a picnic in Bidwell Park at the one mile. Great memories of swimming in the one mile and a kid. What a great day we had. The boys did a Easter egg hunt, played with bubbles and just ran around having fun.

Coloring Eggs

See all our pretty eggs. Jacob thought it was fun to bang the eggs together after dying them. So we have a few cracked eggs. Oh well. They will still have a goood time hunting them.

Dying eggs

Are you ready? YES, we are.
I made the boys take off their clothes down to their underwear and diaper so that I dye would not ruin their clothes.

Today the boys and I colored eggs. We had a great time and they both did a great job of listening to me. It only took about five minutes to color 3 dozen eggs. Jacob had a great time dropping the eggs into the colors. Well he only used the color blue so we have a few blue eggs.

On Wednesday I took the kids on a mommy and me field trip. We went to the Jelly Belly Factory to see how Jelly Belly's are made The kids had a great time. They both loved watching how all the machines worked and seeing the jelly beans being made. We had even more fun because our great friends the Heilners and Judd's came along with us.
