Monster Trucks and Nags Head

An afternoon at the beach. We had a great time and I can't wait to do it again. The boys jumped right into the water and wanted to stay in the water. Being a close to the beach is going to be a good thing for us.

At Grave diggers home you have the chance to ride in a monster truck. We bought Justin and Red tickets. Jacob was two inches to short to ride. Justin was very excited to ride then it came time to get on and he crumbled. He cried and wouldn't get on. So the driver being really nice showed Justin that the truck was not very loud and went really slow. After Justin got on and rode around the track he got off and was smiling from ear to ear.

One of the first Grave Diggers. Jacob sitting in the wheel of a monster truck.

Today we got up and took the boys out to the Outer Banks. On the way to the Outer Banks is Grave Diggers home. Justin loves Grave Digger so of course we just had to stop.

A few pictures of our trip

Putt Putting (miniture golfing) in Nashville.

County music hall of fame in Nashville. We loved Nashville. "Let the circle be unbroken."

Too long in the car. Jacob having a little fun.

Yes we are here

We have arrived here in Elizabeth City. We are going to stay in a hotel until our house opens up on Monday. We were supposed to be in on Saturday but some things have come up with the owners not being able to get out until Saturday. Then the rental company wants to clean the carpets. So we don't get in until Saturday. Our stuff arrives on Monday also. Everything will work out. We are all glad to get out of the car. Tomorrow we sign the papers for the house. Then it should be a good relaxing weekend.

Hugs to all

All most there

Okay so for the delay in posting but we have been crazy busy. Memphis was a bust. We left the next day. A little to scary for us. We moved on to Nashville and had a great time. We saw the county music hall of fame, the Ryham adutomarima, the grand old opry. Which we were part of a live show on Tuesday night. We took the boys minture golfing what fun. Then we made the long haul into North Carolina. Tomorrow should just be a few hours in the car and then we will stay just a few nights in a hotel. Hopefully saturday we will be in our new home. I can't wait. I am so tired of being in the car and living out of hotels. I need to cook.

Love you all.

Memphis

We made it to Memphis. Only after another long very long day in the car. The boys are holding it together, but asking when we are going to get to North Carolina. Soon babys soon. We are staying here in Memphis for the day so that we can see Graceland in the morning. Then we are off to Nashville. Then it's the long drive into North Carolina. Being two times zone way is making this move even more real for me. I feel good about it at time and then sad. I think that I have reached my place of not being comfortable with things. New places, not knowing were things are just being out of my comfort zone. Scary.

Hugs for the night.

In the midwest

Good evening from the midwest. We made it to Oklhamoma. We are going to spend two nights here. Today was an eight plus hour car ride. The boys are pretty beat. The are jumping on the bed to help get the wiggles out. We are going to spend the day seeing the town tomorrow. We are going to try for the zoo and the western heritage musuem.

On a side note we have been doing the Love Dare. What a great time to try and do it. The stress of moving. It have been great we both are working on patience and kindness. At time its can be hard but we are getting better. Tonight Red even lead us in paryer at a resturat. Amazing. This is just conforiming for me that moving is going to be good for us. We are already growing.

I am missing every one, but looking forward to the doors that God is opening for us.

Good night.

Giddy up let's ride

I bought Jacob a stick horse to go with Justin's stick horse. So last night we had stick horse races though out the house. What a great way to spend some family time together. Both Red and I chased the boys and played horse too. The boys love to get on the horse's and go. Giddy up let's ride.

Jacob's Cake

I had a weak moment and bought Jacob a cake at Sam's Club. Not like we need any more cake. So it had to sit in the fridge waiting for his birthday. Every day he would open the fridge and look at the cake and say "me me me". Then after some talking to he would close the fridge. The cake was yummy!! He loved eating it.

Jacobs Party 2

The dino cake. Every peice was eaten. Yummy
We had another party for Jacob this last weekend. What a lucky kid to get two party's. Somebody sure loves him. We had a great time with everyone. Thanks for coming and sharing Jacob's birthday with us.

San Francisco

Family Picture. Do you see the guy on the ship behind us. Love him
Some great eats and fun seats at the Rain Forest Cafe

Riding the carousal with Daddy
Stinky sea lions

Last Friday we took Red's mom and grandmother to the Jelly Belly factory and then off to San Francisco for the afternoon. San Francisco was the coldest I think that it could have ever been. The wind was blowing, it was really miserable. We made the best of it. We rode the ferry from Oakland, saw the sea lions, the boys rode the carousal, we browsed the shops and ate dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. Over a cold day but really fun.
