Update

Heard from the nuerogolist this week.  He said that he doesn't believe that I have a blood clot or the intracrianial hypertension.  Good right.

Now I just got a call from the OB saying that I have to go back on the blood thinners because I could have a resolving clot.  GRRRRRRR.  Does any one now what's going on.  My  induction for labor has been scheduled for May 7th.  Little girl has been severed with papers to get out.  We will see if I make it that long.  Feeling fustared with my doctors right now.  Praying everything goes well.

Update

So I got to go and see the neurologist today.  Which was good.  He said that the way things look as of now he's not 100% sure that I really have a blood clot.  He thinks it may be a benign intracranial hypertension.  Which means that I could have too much spinal fluid which is putting to much pressure on my optic nerve which is causing the headache.

So it's more tests and some more waiting.  It a waiting game to see which one pans out.  Lets hope its not a blood clot. Fingers crossed and waiting. More to follow next week after I have more tests.  And yes, baby girl is doing great. :-)

Getting up to speed.

Okay so it's been awhile since I have blogged.  But  things went for nice and easy to pretty crazy here in the Rademacher house.

At the end of February I was put on bed rest for the fear of going into pre-term labor.  That was fun.  NOT.

Then in the middle of March I came down the a really bad migraine and wasn't able to move my neck or head.  I couldn't even sit up.  So after going to the hospital here in Elizabeth City and them sending me home with what they thought was a twisted nerve. Well I wasn't getting any better over the next twenty four hrs.  I finally decide that I would go to the hospital in Norfolk. There after another long night. They did an MRI and found a blood clot on the back of my brain. Crazy.  So add blood clot and being thirty one weeks pregnant life has been turned up side down.

Thank goodness my mom was able to come out and help for two week.  What would we have done without our GG.  I'm home and taking it one day at a time.  Each day is different and never the same.  I have good days and bad days.  Now we are getting close Rebecca's birth life is just a little  bit more crazy.  We have to be very careful on how I deliver her as not to put the blood clot under any stress.

Other wise we are all doing great. Adjusting to life with this crazy and unreal thing going on.
