Egg Dying

We had the boys dye Easter eggs Friday night since we were going to have Easter a day early. The boys loved it. Now dying Easter eggs in a hotel suite was a little nerve racking for me but we made it though dying the eggs. Thank goodness for plastic table cloths. We had the boys take their clothes off and then the dying began. We did about a dozen eggs since we were the only one's looking for eggs. The next morning we had the Easter bunny come and the boys loved that the Easter bunny found them all the way in Florida. Then Red and I hind the eggs for the boys in our suite and off they went. Molly only got to one egg before we thought to put her outside on the porch. Otherwise it was a great time. The boys never noticed that she a gotten that egg either. :-)

Busch Gardens

We took the boys to Busch Gardens for Easter this year. It's been three years to the Easter since the last time Justin and I were in Tampa and went to Busch Gardens. Kind of a fun thing for us to do. The boys loved it. They had such a good time playing in the water splash zone and riding all the rides. Justin was super brave rode a roller coaster (kid one) all by himself. Since Jacob was about an inch too short Justin had to go by himself, Jacob was an inch to short for a couple of rides he was a good sport about it. Red got all of the roller coaster in as while. It was a fun and enjoyable day for us all.

Beach Fun

Of course you have to visit the beach when in Florida. Other then swimming in the swimming pool, going to the beach was the boys favorite thing to do. We found a beach on McDill AFB that we just loved. Twice dolphins came within fifteen feet of the boys when they were swimming. The boys liked seeing the dolphins the both thought it was pretty neat.

Frosting Cookies

Today because of the rainy weather we decide to make some sugar cookies and frost them after dinner. Justin wanted to just pour the frosting all over the cookies. It almost looked he was painting the cookies. Jacob spent a lot of time just eating the frosting. He would get a little on the knife and then he would put it in his mouth. Then go back for more frosting then he would pause over the cookies like he was thinking about frosting or eating it. Most of the time he just ate it. The boys big and small had fun frosting the cookies. Jacob ate some much frosting he didn't want to have a cookie later.

Snow 2010

The snow started at about 6 am this morning. Red had to leave with the plane so he's not here to even play in the snow with the boys and his new jeep.

It started snowing last night. WHOA. So when the boys got up bright and early this morning they wanted to go out and play. I told them they had to wait until the sun came up. Enjoy the fun pictures. We have about 3 inches right now and it just stopped snowing. So we will see if we get home.

Justin Fat Lip

So back in town today and the boys saw are neighbors little boy and they wanted to play. While riding the bikes Justin fell off and attacked the pavement with his lip. Of course the pavement won the fight. Even with putting ice on it and washing it out his lip really swelled up. Man it was huge. After some Motrin the swelling did go down. Of course we had to take pictures of it.
